Explore the magic and splendours of Southern Africa by Motorcycle!

We specialise in guided adventure tours for small groups in South Africa, as well as long distance tours to countries such as Botswana, Namibia, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, etc.

Southern Africa has excellent conditions for biking with good roads (tarred and gravel), exciting country tracks and excellent weather.

Dual purpose motorcycles such as the BMW GS range, Dakar, Adventure - Honda, Africa Twin, Trans Alp, Varadero - KTM, and similar machines are all suitable. Bring your own bikes or rent one of ours.

Our tour leader will accompany the route by Motor Cycle for local tours, and for long distance and cross-country tours a tour guide in a support vehicle will escort the tour. Baggage, supplies and spares will be carried in the support vehicle.

• Cross country tours are escorted by a support vehicle.
• To ensure personal attention group size is limited to between 4 and 12 motorcycles.
• Motorcycles are not permitted to enter any national parks or game reserves

• Tour 1. Panorama Route – Mpumalanga (6 Days – 1500km)
  We ride the Panorama Route and explore the many famous mountain passes in the area – regarded as biking heaven.
  Accommodation. All at 3 & 4 star Hotels.



• Tour 2. Ivory Trail - Limpopo: (8 Days – 2500km)
  The Ivory Trail takes us through the northern Limpopo province of South Africa famous for the giant baobab trees - we then ride the Panorama Route and explore the many famous mountain passes in the area.
  Accommodation. At country Lodges and Hotels as above.



• Tour 3. Zambezi Explorer – Botswana & Zambia: (13 Days – 4000km)
  This long distance ride takes us through Limpopo province of South Africa and then on to northern Botswana where we visit the Chobe National Park famous for the large herds of elephant. We also visit Victoria Falls and the Caprivi region of Namibia before returning through the Kalahari region of Botswana.
  Accommodation: A mix of campsites, chalets and country lodges.



• Tour 4. Southern Cross Challenge: (21 Days – 6000km)
  The first 10 days is the same as the Zambezi Explorer but we then continue westwards to Namibia to visit the Atlantic coast and the Namib Desert.
  Accommodation: A mix of campsites, chalets and country lodges.



• Tour 5. GlobeRiders Africa Expedition 2007 - SA, Botswana, Zambia & Namibia:
